Front of House Services

We tailor all our courses to reflect the needs of the delegates on the course and their establishment. Delegates will gain thorough knowledge and understanding of the essentials of good front of house/restaurant practices. We can organise a ‘mystery shopper’ style visit by our expert trainer, who will then write a detailed report of the areas where training may be beneficial.

We all interact with the food and beverage industry, whether it is as staff or as a customer. This course has been designed to give an insight into the industry and the skills required for running and supervising correctly your employees in Cafes, Hotels, Bars or Restaurants.

This course will provide the delegates with the knowledge for effective management of food service operations, while presenting the basic service principles and highlighting the importance of meeting and exceeding the needs of the customer.

Although restaurant managers supervise all operational aspects of a restaurant, they will still need to know basic information about the kitchen/culinary components of running a successful restaurant

Jane Fegley

Food Safety, Front of House & Housekeeping Trainer

For over 30 years, Jane has worked extensively in the hospitality and educational industries. Gaining a wealth of knowledge and experience by working in both front and back of house, house keeping, health and safety, and customer service departments. She qualified as a member of the HCIMA and delivers training for the CIEH, RSPH and the BII. She has managed teams across a wide range of disciplines, whilst working on P&O Cruise Lines and in hotels and restaurants.

Jane is a qualified assessor and Internal Verifier (IV), and an exceptional trainer, who is able to design and deliver, bespoke training packages specifically tailored to your business.
